The Private Banking and Insurance Practice Groups of Baker & McKenzie Zurich and Geneva offer AIWM members the opportunity to attend a series of complimentary Business Breakfast Briefings. The briefings present relevant topics for the international wealth management community, including new tax laws, legislative changes, international developments and more! The briefings are an excellent opportunity for wealth management professionals to keep abreast of key developments and to learn about planning techniques of relevance to the high net worth clients they serve.

AIWM members will also receive complimentary invitations to participate in the Global Professional Development Webinar Program (GPDWP) co-sponsored by LawInContext and Baker & McKenzie. The GPDWP is a series of webinars which focus on a broad range of topics designed for professionals working in the banking and finance industries. The webinar programmes are global in orientation, each covering a different geographical area and focusing on key wealth management issues within the covered region. Each webinar programme consists of five conference calls spread out over a period of three months. Participants can earn MCLE or COPD credits where applicable.

AIWM members are also invited to the yearly LawInContext Private Banking Helpdesk webinar series, which is comprised of telephone conference calls with simultaneous access to presentations on the LawInContext website. The webinars are complimentary, and feature legal and tax experts from Baker & McKenzie, as well as certain contributing firms. AIWM members are guaranteed spots to participate in these webinars as registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Finally, AIWM members will be able to attend certain events organized by LawInContext at specially reduced rates. Members will also be able to participate in a private session organized at each event for AIWM members only. The private session topics and speakers will depend on the event and location.
