The members of AIWM’s Board occupy leading positions and have many years of experience in the financial sector.

Stephan Meier

Chairman AIWM & CEO, OpenFunds Investment Services AG

Stephan has 29 years of investment experience and started his career as an equity research analyst in 1987 at the then Swiss Bank Corporation, later UBS. His functions included: Head of Portfolio Management for Swiss Equities, Head of Product Management for Institutional Funds. He worked as CEO of the respective asset management business for Bank am Bellevue, the BZ and Clariden Leu. Stephan holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Basle. He is a Board Member of the Swiss Financial Analyst Association and AZEK.

Grégoire Baudin

Founder and Board Member of Artemis Gestion in Lausanne

Grégoire Baudin is the founder of Artemis Gestion located in Lausanne. Previously he was Vice President of Dreyfus Sons & Co. Ltd, Basel, Switzerland and worked at Dreyfus Sons & Co, Basel since 2008 managing a portfolio of UHNWI and HNWI of Swiss and foreign clients.

Mr. Baudin is Swiss and holds a Master’s degree in Sciences together with the Federal Diplomas of Financial Analyst and Portfolio Managers and also Expert in Finance and Investments. Mr Baudin is a part time teacher in Wealth Management in Switzerland for the Certified International Wealth Manager program CIWM.

Vincent Bazi

Managing Partner and Head of Investments, Nextstage

Mr. Vincent Bazi is Managing Partner and Head of Investments at NextStage in Paris, one of the leading French Private Equity Fund with over 300m€ AUM. He has over 25 years experience in financial analysis, equity sales and investment. Previously he was a financial analyst with Cheuvreux and JP Morgan, a Director of Barings and Schroders in charge of French equities and Head of French equity Sales for Oddo and Dexia.

Mr. Bazi graduated from Sciences-Po Paris and Columbia Business School (Senior Executive Program). He holds a Master in Economics from the University of Paris 1, a Master in Management Sciences from the University of Paris 10 and Essec Business School. He also attended the Financial Management Program from the Wharton School of Finance (University of Pennsylvania USA). He is also a CIWM holder.

Vincent is the Chairman and CEO of the World Pension Council (WPC), a think tank on pension funds. He is also an Associate Professor of SKEMA Business School.

Marshall Beyer

Director, Credentials Development, Canadian Securities Institute a division of Moody’s Corporation

After graduating with a Business degree from the University of Manitoba, Marshall started his financial services career with Richardson Greenshields (RG) a Canadian full service investment dealer. Over his 12 years at RG (1982-1994), Marshall became a Vice-President and senior analyst within the organization’s research department.

In 1995, Marshall joined the Canadian Securities Institute (CSI), Canada’s exclusive educator and examiner for individuals seeking employment and/or registration within the investment industry.

Marshall started out with CSI as an Academic Director focused on its derivative courses and examinations before assuming leadership of CSI’s course development department where for 10 years he led a team of 15 subject matter experts who were responsible for the creation and maintenance of CSI’s 150+ courses and programs that address basic securities, derivatives, alternative investments, trading, portfolio management, financial planning, wealth management, compliance and risk management areas.

In 2010 Moody’s Corporation purchased CSI and Marshall’s focus has been on investigating, sanctioning and developing the specifications for new certification programs and developing domestic and international partnerships that will help expand the recognition and reach of these programs.

Marshall lives in Toronto, Canada with his wife and son.

Yixiang Lin

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TX Investment Consulting Co., Ltd

Yixiang Lin has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TX Investment Consulting Co., Ltd. in Beijing since 2001. He had over 10 years overseas studying and working experiences before he joining China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC).

In CSRC, Yixiang served as the Senior Expert, Deputy General Director of Research and Information Department and the head of the Securities Trading Surveillance System. He later joined China Securities Co., Ltd. and served as the Vice President from 1996 to 2001 and started up China Asset Management Co., Ltd. and Shenzhen Innovation Technology Investment Co., Ltd.

He serves as the President of the Securities Analysts Association of China (SAAC); Vice-President of the Asian Securities Analysts Federation (ASAF); Chairman of the Expert Committee on Shenzhen Stock Exchange Index; Chairman of the Expert Committee on China Securities Index. He served as Vice President of the Securities Association of China since July 2002 and also as its Chief of Securities Analysis Council since July 2000.

Additionally, Yixiang Lin is a teaching professor at some of China’s most prestigious universities. He holds Ph.D. in Economics.

Jean-Sylvain Perrig

SFAA Board Member

Jean-Sylvain Perrig is founder and CEO of Premyss S.A. Before, he served as CIO Private Banking at UBP until the end of May 2016. Before, he was CIO at Edmond de Rothschild in Geneva. Prior to this position he was responsible for the organisation of the discretionary mandates at Cogeba Gonet Bank (later Fortis). He started his professional career as a portfolio manager with UBS in Geneva and moved later to the foreign desk in London.

Jean-Sylvain holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Lausanne, as well as a financial analyst’s and portfolio manager’s diploma from AZEK.
